The Slingshot RPM exists since 2009, and since 2010 it’s an awesome kite.
Now imagine how much it improved in 10 years!
I always ridden RPMs by Slingshot so I could be wrong about any other kite but this.
Born as a, freestyle oriented, performance all-arounder (I have memories of Youri playing inbetween waves on a strap surfboard), this kite quickly evolved into a user friendly wakestyle machine. Looping, lift, and hang time have also been improved a lot by Slingshot in the last years, as the early models used to jump as much as a stoned bunny. The Slingshot RPM 2019 brings this jump high fury to the next level. This kite is more kiteloop and big air oriented than ever before.
I told you, I’ve always ridden RPM so I can definitely tell the difference. Now I can finally compete with my friends in hooked-in jumps.
Still, if you’re an air-style feak like Toby or wanna compete in the next King of The Air, you should have a look also at the newest Raptor. If you’re a wave hungry rider look for the SST. This kite is made to slack and won’t wait for you while you’re riding down the line. If you like to foil when it’s light wind, you’ll be able to to that to with the new RPM 2019.
Slingshot made some statements saying that to increase boost and kiteloop speed the new RMP have slightly less slack than the predecessor, but honestly I constantly hearing riders saying that this is the easiest RPM for handle passes ever.
So that’s what you have from the Slingshot RPM 2019: a forgiving yet performing freestyle weapon which is either send you to the moon or help you land that dogdammit trick.
And now it’s also on Sale man!!!!
